The biggest issue for bloggers is where to source the material from. Obviously home grown is best and I advise all my bloggers to be armed with a camera or video (preferably both) to record those unexpected moments at meetings, in workshops, in life in general that will add flavour and unique content to their blog.
If you are just starting out and don’t have stock footage that you want to share, there are a load of sites that offer FREE photos and video to download against a search of your key words. www.stock.xchng has a good selection and they are FREE but iStockphoto is another good source as are Freephoto and photoree and PicApp.
PicApp has high quality images but they do run a bit of sponsored advertising on it…. so beware when you’re downloading. For video, well we all know Youtube!
